Barack Hussein Obama II was the 44th president of the United States from 2009-2017. He was the first black president in the history of the United States. Obama was and still is a bit controversial. Many say that Obama helped the economy and the Affordable Care Act he passed were beneficial, but others say he hurt the country and that the Affordable Care Act expanded the federal government. While it is still a bit too recent to see if it truly was beneficial or not, it is still a big issue in today's politics.
Obama was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Obama has remained as an influental and inspirational figure. He has been involved in politics, criticizing Donald Trump and supporting his vice president Joe Biden.
