Benjamin Harrison was the 23rd president of the United States who served from 1889 - 1893. Harrison was the grandson of former president William Henry Harrison making him and Henry Harrison the only grandfather-grandson pair of presidents. Harrison believed in higher tariffs and was the president between Grover Cleveland's two non-consecutive terms, defeating Cleveland in 1888 but being defeated by Cleveland in 1892. Harrison was also the first president to have a surviving recording of his voice:

Harrison was born on August 20, 1833 in North Bend, Ohio.
Harrison died on March 13, 1901 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
