Joe Biden: Fourty-sixth president of America from 2021 - present

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. is the 46th and current president of the United States of America. He was previously Barack Obama's vice president and before that a senator of Delaware for 36 years. Biden is the oldest president to ever be in office, entering office at 78 years old. This has been used to criticize him. Just like his political rival Donald Trump, Biden has been a controversial president. The main things he is criticized for are the withdrawal from Afghanistan and his handling of the southern border. While mostly everyone agreed that the withdrawal from Afghanistan was needed, Biden's opponents (primarily Republicans) said the withdrawal was botched and that important equipment was left behind which was given to opposing countries like China and Russia. It also didn't help that the Taliban terrorist group took control after America left. While many say that the border wall being built under Trump was not morally right, others say it was important for national security, especially when the number of migrants increased drastically. Many say Biden is too old to be president and some speculate that he could have dementia or other problems. He has helped Ukraine in the fight against Russia by sending money, and while it has helped and he has been praised for it, some say too much money is being given. Inflation and house prices have gone up under his watch, with Republicans saying it was caused by his government spending bills, while Democrats argue that inflation has not been a major issue and it is out of their control. In summary, most of Biden's actions have been praised by Democrats and criticized by Republicans, just like how Republicans praised Donald Trump while Democrats criticized him.
